As a wedding planner, I’ve had the privilege of being part of countless weddings over the years. However, there are some weddings that leave a lasting impression, and Zoe and Paul’s wedding day was one of those unforgettable moments.
From the moment I met Zoe and Paul on zoom, I knew their wedding was going to be special. They had a clear vision of what they wanted their wedding day to be like. They wanted a celebration that reflected their personalities and their journey together, and I was honoured to help bring their dream to life.
The day started early, with Zoe and her bridesmaids getting ready in the manor house of Molenvliet. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as they prepared for the day ahead, but they were also so chilled, which was so lovely! Meanwhile, Paul and his groomsmen were getting ready at the River Manor having some drinks and sharing stories as they got dressed in their sharp suits.
The ceremony took place with a stunning backdrop of flowers and greenery. Zoe looked radiant in her elegant gown, and Paul couldn’t take his eyes off her as she walked down the aisle. The ceremony was filled with love and emotion, as the couple exchanged heartfelt vows and sealed their commitment with a kiss.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a cocktail hour with delicious canapes by Annelize Catering and refreshing drinks. The reception followed with twinkling lights and elegant table settings. Zoe and Paul’s first dance was a magical moment, as they swayed to their favorite song surrounded by their loved ones. Paul got emotional after the dance which was such a sweet thing to witness.
Throughout the evening, there were heartfelt speeches, joyful laughter, and plenty of dancing and LOTS of shots. It was clear that Zoe and Paul were surrounded by people who loved and supported them, and the atmosphere was filled with warmth and happiness.
Zoe and Paul, I feel privileged to have been part of your wedding. As a wedding planner, it’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.
