Cape Town Wedding: Dan and Suzie

Suzie and Dan were very special clients of mine. We had to postpone their wedding twice due to covid, and it was devastating for them. The second time we came so close to the wedding, and our borders closed, while they were here visiting from the UK. It was so upsetting for them to go through this all over again. So I was overjoyed alongside them when the day finally arrived and we got to put all the planning back together and make the magic happen! 

It was the most perfect day, the flowers were gorgeous, the food was absolutely divine, the music was wonderful, the bride had two insanely beautiful wedding dresses and there was a hora, I mean, I love a hora! You cannot do anything but smile when you watch a hora, it is such fun! 

Once Suzie and Dan sat down for dinner and the sun set over the mountain, the lights lit up the deck area and everything looked so romantic, and I am OBSESSED with these photos that showcase it all.

Suzie and Dan wanted to have 2 looks for their day, the romantic soft look for the day, and then once the dancing started, they wanted a darker more vibey feel. So Botanica came to the party with their creative flair, and we transformed the inside into a beautiful, totally different space for the party. We even had a separate area for the bolla bar, the pancakes, the dessert, the cake, coffee and the ice cream! No one, and I mean no one, went home hungry!
