Literally overly excited to be sharing these insanely beautiful photos with you today. I adored this wedding! And this was 100% a wedding planners dream wedding!
Kelvin and Montanna live in Hong Kong, but they wanted to have their wedding in Cape Town (which I was very happy about) They chose me as their wedding planner and then they settled on the lovely Vrede en Lust for their 3 day event.
The weather looked like it was going to take a turn for the worse, but this literally did nothing to the happy mood of the bride and groom, we moved to plan B for the cocktail hour and no matter what, Montanna was getting her outdoor wedding! Luckily, the rain held out until the reception. It was a lovely wedding ceremony and I just loved that tradition and modern times collided on this one.
They had a lovely cosy cocktail hour under the marquee tent, they played games, had cocktails and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I had to beg some people to make their way into the wedding reception. This crowd enjoyed themselves from start to finish!
The decor we did for this wedding is on my top 5 favourite list. Montanna gave me her ideas and was specific about certain things, but she was also super ok with me taking the lead as her wedding planner and giving her my thoughts. I was pretty happy that our collaborated thoughts produced such beauty.
Their wedding reception was such fun! I felt like I was a guest at this wedding. The speeches were amazing, the place looked incredible, the food and wine – well, what can I say here, it is always amazing! The shots were going down a treat, the dessert station looked like love and the whole crowd danced until the lights came on. It was a perfect day! Thank you to the lovely couple for allowing me to help plan your beautiful wedding day, I wish you both all the love and happiness in the world.
Their bridal party photos are just gorgeous! Jenni did a fabulous job photographing them and she really captured them all perfectly. I have never been around so many people that just laugh and hug each other all day long, it was truly wonderful to be apart of it.
