Cape Town Wedding: Maggie and Brett

Shoo, this wedding was just so beautiful! I am so happy that I am able to blog these beauties!

Maggie and Brett live overseas and they chose Old Mac Daddy in Elgin to exchange their vows. Maggie is literally the sweetest little bride, she was so easy to work with. We hit it off straight away and got to work!

I loved Maggie’s bridesmaids, they were so lovely. They only cared about her and how she felt on the day. They absolutely squealed in delight when they saw her in her wedding gown.

The ceremony took place in the garden under the beautiful trees. Brett’s Aunt married the couple and one of the bridesmaids, Raven, sang a song to the couple. It was a truly special ceremony to watch.

Moira took some stunning photos of them during their couple shoot. She captured them perfectly, and as per usual, I struggled to choose which ones to blog.

The decor and flowers were done by Botanica Flowers. When I brought Maggie to see the venue she was blown away. Tears welled up in her eyes, she touched my arm and she said ‘this is my dream, you just made it come to life’ Ummm, best response ever!!!

The reception was filled with heartfelt speeches. I have heard many googled speeches a thousand times over. But this wedding had so many real speeches and it was a delight to listen to them all. The overall feel was romantic and relaxed, the lighting was perfect for this setup and everything looked really pretty once the sun set. The dance floor came alive once the formalities were over and the guests partied the night away.

Thank you Maggie and Brett for allowing me to plan such a special day for you. You are both such special people and I wish you all the best for your future together.
