So glad I get to show these stunning photos off to everyone. Lara and Jurgen live in Johannesburg but they settled on the gorgeous Mosaic Sanctuary in Stanford for their wedding.
Lara was THE easiest bride to work with. She kept asking if she was a bridezilla and I was like ‘Ummm, what are you even saying to me, you are amazing” Lara never complained or changed her mind, she just went with my suggestions. She knew what she wanted and we pulled it together – literally a dream to work with!
Their ceremony was under a stunning oak tree overlooking the lagoon. It was a very special ceremony and they looked SO happy when they were pronounced husband and wife. Their couple photos are so dreamy, there are so many incredible shots!
The flowers and decor from Botanica were exactly what Lara imagined it to be. It really complimented the venue and surrounds and the lighting by Authentic Planning looked stunning once the sun had set.
The food from Slippery Spoon was delicious! They settled on the family style look of food and it honestly looked like something out of a food styling magazine, it tasted delicious too! The speeches were very heart felt and special. Lara’s dad made the sweetest speech and Jurgen did a great job capturing their guests with his beautiful words. The couple danced on a starlit dance floor and ate ice cream under the stars with all those that are dear to them – pretty damn perfect if you ask me!
Thanks to the wonderful couple for allowing me to play such a big part in your day, I loved every second of it. Wishing you all the love and happiness in the world.
