Cape Town Wedding: Andrea and Carl

Andrea and Carl were married at the lovely Molenvliet Vineyards in May. 

We only had 2 months to plan this whole day, so I got to work as soon as they booked me. Andrea had lovely ideas and Botanica did a wonderful job pulling the ideas and looks together. Although it was May, and it could be quite chilly, Andrea wanted the flowers to be bright and full of colour. I absolutely adored her bouquet, it was definitely a favourite of mine this season.

The ceremony was held on the lawns and the circular and colourful arch really stood out against the garden. After the ceremony, the couple led the guests towards the deck area where Annelize Catering were set up with the most delish food bars! The food, as usual, was an absolute hit! It was just divine and everyone loved it. 

The reception was really important to the couple, they wanted to make sure their guests were taken care of, especially the kids. As there were quite a few kids at this wedding, they didn’t want them to be bored. Andrea has special boxes made for each child and each box was filled with fun things, including polaroid cameras which the kids absolutely loved! They also had their own little movie theatre which we set up behind the draping. They all had their own headphones and could happily watch a movie and eat popcorn while the adults danced the night away. It was such a hit!
