Ooooh, I just adored this wedding. Elice and Olumide flew down from USA to have their wedding here in the lovely region of Franschhoek, they chose Haute Cabriere as their venue.
I know I say this about all my brides, but Elice was SUCH a sweetheart. She was a lovely person to get to know and I was so happy when we finally got to meet them both a few weeks before the special day. They decided to use the wine cellar as the ceremony, the gardens for the cocktail hour and the restaurant for the reception.
Haute Cabriere has a lovely intimate feel to it. It gives off this “Lord of Rings” vibe in the restaurant, which is pretty neat. The cellar where they held the ceremony is lovely and cool on a hot summers day. Kirya Kuti played some awesome tunes for the guests, and the bubbly lollies were a hit during the cocktail hour!
The couple photos are so lovely and Lumi Morgan did a great job. Pippa from Wildeflower made pretty with the flower and decor, the venue looked so stunning! Elice and Olumide just loved the overall look.
The reception was such fun, the speeches were hilarious and their MC, Yvonne Orji was brilliant. The couple changed into their traditional Nigerian attire for the dancing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them dance and enjoy their time with their friends and family. Thank you Elice and Olumide for being so wonderful, I loved planning your wedding and I wish you all the love and happiness in the world!
