Cape Town Wedding: Frances and Miguel

This wedding! I was so excited when Miguel and Frances asked me to plan their wedding, because I had planned Miguels sisters wedding a few years back. So it was so nice to see the family again and celebrate one more time. 

They chose Johanessdal as their wedding venue. The gardens and views are spectacular from this venue. This March was a tough one for wedding planners, it rained more this March than any other March I can remember. It is supposed  to be one of our hottest months in Cape Town. It rained ALL morning, but luckily about 90 min before the ceremony was set to start, it stopped and gave us enough time to have the outdoor ceremony they wanted. 

The setup was so pretty! I loved the look they went for. 
The lovely Mischa (who sang at my elopement and bigger wedding) sang Frances and her dad down the aisle. 

The ceremony was really touching and sweet.

Cocktail hour was in the courtyard under the tent supplied by Cape Tents and it kept the guests nice and dry! 

The reception was held up in the main venue and it was gorgeous! Rowenna and her team from Botanica Flowers did such a beautiful job! 

Once the dinner and speeches were done, they had a bit of dancing time upstairs and then made a train with all their guests down to the Blue Room for the full party until 2am! 

It was a really wonderful wedding to plan and I wish you both the absolute very best that life has to offer. May your new adventures abroad bring you all the love and happiness!
