Cape Town Wedding: Natalie and Dom

Natalie and Dom were married at the lovely Boschendal on a warm summers day. They live overseas and their whole family and all their friends flew in to spend a couple of days celebrating them.

They have recently had an adorable little girl, and she was honestly the best baby. It seemed as though she had attended many weddings before, she was the most perfect little angel the whole day and she truly stole the show in her little outfit.

Natalie has got to be top 5 most chilled brides of all time. She was so easy to work with and it was a total breeze to plan her wedding with her. Even though she gave birth halfway through the planning, nothing stressed her out at all. She was super calm.

So calm that 48 hours before her wedding she had a dress disaster, so we had to find her a whole new dress! That’s right, a WHOLE NEW DRESS! The Wedding Boutique came to the rescue and she found a dress she loved, they altered it and we ubered it to the venue the morning of the wedding all steamed and ready to wear. Most brides would have lost their minds if something like this had happened, but Natalie trusted me to fix it, and when The Wedding Boutique could fit her in for a fitting, I knew we would make it work. Suppliers you can trust and that go the extra mile are SO important in our industry, it is truly such a gift to know that people will do so much for a client they have never met.

The day was just as calm and lovely as the planning was. Everything went smoothly and according to plan, it was such a pleasure to be apart of their day and witness how happy they were when they saw it all come together. Natalie’s reaction to the decor was so special, I wish the florists could have seen it, she was over the moon with happiness!

Natalie and Dom, you are just such a lovely couple and your little daughter is so lucky to have such wonderful parents like you. I wish you all the love and happiness in the world!
