Bianca and Jeremy are the cutest couple ever. We met over Skype one evening and chatted for ages about their wedding. I cannot believe that time fly’s like this and that I am already blogging their beautiful wedding.
They settled on the lovely Brenaissance in Stellenbosch for their wedding. Family and close friends gathered at this gorgeous venue for the special occasion. Bianca was literally the most chilled bride. She was walking in and out the reception area as if it wasn’t her wedding day at all. She had a beautiful smile on her face the whole time and kept thanking the providers for everything they had done. Both Bianca and Jeremy allowed us to do what they hired us for and they just enjoyed themselves while they got dressed with their families.
Bianca has a twin brother who she is very close to, so it was very special to see them laughing and spending some time together before she walked down the aisle. Bianca is from an Italian family, and I just love how close they are. I come from an Italian family and I can still remember my Granny saying “Cara, mangia, mangia” at the dinner table. She was always so keen on us eating way more than we needed. Italians are loud, loving and happy – and that is exactly how Bianca’s family was. It was a lovely thing to see them all together.
Jeremy got dressed with the boys and do what most men do, they fool around, laugh, drink whiskey and make sure they look dapper in their suits. Jeremy was excited to see his bride walk down the aisle and was full of smiles when he saw her appear in her gorgeous wedding dress.
Bianca’s mom organised a surprise for her daughter and new son in law just after they left the chapel. We had doves waiting for them, and they were to let them go into the sky. The crowd loved it and Lindy got some beautiful photos of them flying away.
The cake and dessert station were out of this world! And trust me, I have to do quality control on these sorts of tables, (you know, just to make 100% sure everything is up to scratch) and I can guarantee you that it was all as delicious as it looks.
The flowers were to lovely for words and Botanica did a beautiful job making Bianca and Jeremy’s vision come to life.
One other surprise we had lined up were the fire dancers from Fire Tribe. All the guests gathered around the couple outside and the fire dancers did an awesome show for them under the stars.
All in all, another successful and beautiful wedding that I am very proud to show off.
I always say this, but I really do love and appreciate people who hire me and then let me run with it. This couple lived in the UK and knew they couldn’t do it all alone, and I will always be grateful that they chose me to help pull their day together. I had such fun!
To the lovely couple, I wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness and laugher. I know you will do many great things together.
