Cape Town Wedding: Julia and Henry

Julia and Henry travelled from the UK to celebrate their wedding in the Cape Winelands, choosing the beautiful Vrede en Lust as the setting for their day.

The weather could not have been more perfect. With clear skies and sunshine, their ceremony took place outdoors, surrounded by the mountains and vineyards that make this part of the world so special.

Botanica created the most beautiful florals for the day. The arrangements were colourful, romantic and perfectly suited to the setting, bringing the spaces to life while still allowing the natural beauty of Vrede en Lust to shine through.

After a lovely ceremony, guests moved to the garden for cocktail hour, enjoying drinks and delicious food. It was a relaxed and happy afternoon, with everyone making the most of the beautiful weather before heading inside for the reception.

The evening was filled with good food, wonderful South African wine and some truly lovely speeches. The atmosphere was warm, fun and full of laughter, exactly the kind of reception we love.

Julia surprised everyone with a dress change later in the evening, ready for the party to begin.

And party they did! A DJ and saxophonist kept the dance floor full as everyone celebrated late into the night.

A beautiful setting, perfect weather, incredible flowers and a couple surrounded by family and friends who had travelled to South Africa to celebrate with them. Julia and Henry’s wedding was such a special day and one we absolutely loved being part of.
