Shanta and Gareth’s beautiful wedding was such a lovely family affair filled with tradition, I am so excited to share these photos with you. This wedding made my wedding planner dreams come true.
They live in Italy in beautiful Rome, and needed my help pulling this whole day together, and I was super happy that they did. They settled on Lourensford Wine Estate in Stellenbosch for their special day. Their ceremony was filled with songs, laughter, tears of happiness and lots of love.
They celebrated with cocktails and canapes on the deck overlooking the lawns. Martinus the caricature artist kept the guests very entertained, and he was a little surprise gift from Shanta’s lovely father.
The decor was perfection. Shanta was very specific on the look she wanted and the colours she liked. Rowenna from Botanica did a beautiful job in pulling it off. It looked so beautiful on the day. Planning weddings with beautiful decor is always such a delight.
The couple and bridal party photos are just gorgeous, the sunset was so amazing and perfect for those golden hour shots.
The reception was a lot of fun! They danced into the reception, they did a traditional knife dance, the bridal party and couple did a choreographed dance for the guests, Shanta’s dad and I had another surprise for her and we set off these beautiful ‘sparkler’ lights at the end of their dance. The speeches were heart felt, the father daughter dance was so special and the couple were surrounded by all those who loved them – a very special day was had by all.
Thank you to the amazing couple, I am so glad we got to meet and make magic together. You are both very special and I wish you all the love and happiness and in the world.
