Gregg and Sarita, what a lovely couple. They live in London and asked me to help plan their beautiful wedding here in Cape Town. Gregg was born in SA and Sarita was born in New York, they then met in London. Talk about finding love across the ocean!
Sarita is one of 4 sisters, so she had the most beautiful bridal party!
Gregg is one of 4 brothers, how is that for a coincidence!
They decided on the gorgeous Boschendal Wine Estate in a Cape Town to hold their wedding. They were blessed with lovely weather for the outdoor ceremony which was held on the lawns by the Olive Press. Guests were then lead to the Rhone Homestead Lawns for their wedding reception. Gregg arrived on a horse and the guests sang and danced around him.
Their ceremony was beautiful and it was filled with tradition, which I think is really special when combining two cultures.
Their couple shoot by Lindy Truter is absolutely breath taking. They are such a good looking couple, the weather was perfect and the views are to die for – what more could a photographer want for a wedding shoot?!
Their decor was done by Rowenna from Botanica Flowers, it looked so pretty on the raw wooden tables and at night it really lit up.
The reception was such fun, they did a traditional indian stick dance with all their guests, everyone got sparklers while they cut their cake, there was a slide show of their memories as a couple together and Gregg’s speech was just amazing. It was a very special wedding to be a part of. I wish you both many happy years together and wish you all the love in the world.
