I love an intimate wedding! I especially love intimate weddings with awesome people and amazing providers. Clare and Oliver were married at the lovely Doolhof Boutique Hotel in Wellington and it was a perfect day!
I really don’t need to write a really long blog post here because as you can see, the photos speak for themselves. Christelle Rall did a really fabulous job with the photos and I took ages to decide on which ones to pick.
Clare and Oliver live in the UK and they planned their wedding here in SA with their closest family members and friends. It was a really special day with loads of laughing, happy tears, lots of dancing, fabulous weather, wonderful food and gorgeous flowers – so all in all, I’d say a 10/10 day!
They decided on a marimba band to play for the ceremony and they walked down the aisle to the Lion King theme song, I love it when clients have a bit of fun with their music choices. I think bringing in a personal touch and not just choosing the most famous song on the radio at the moment is really important.
The reception looked so beautiful and the starlit dance floor under the evening sky looked amazing. Live music by Shen FM, really good red wine, a beautiful cheese cake after dinner by Wades Cakes and close friends are pretty much a great recipe for success for a wedding.
