Cape Town Wedding: Stephanie and Christian

When Stephanie and Christian first approached me about planning their wedding at the stunning Vrede en Lust estate, I was thrilled. Living overseas, they entrusted me with the entire process, and it was so fun to help them plan. From the initial discussions to the final details, they were a pleasure to work with, making my job so enjoyable!

Stephanie looked absolutely radiant on her wedding day. I loved her dress, it was so pretty and had such lovely detail. It perfectly complemented by a stunning party dress she donned later in the evening.

One of the highlights of the day was the lively and fun bridal party. Stephanie and Christian’s friends and family brought an infectious energy that made the celebration even more special. She got ready with her girlfriends in the manor house and the upstairs and Christian got ready downstairs. They were quite relaxed for a couple about to get married, I must say! They were so chilled and just enjoyed the morning with their people.

They did a first look and then had a slightly shorter couple shoot so they could spend time with their guests during the cocktail, something that is becoming more and more popular with the weddings we do.

The reception was a perfect blend of elegance and fun. Guests enjoyed a lovely dinner inside the beautiful Vrede en Lust venue, where the decor reflected Stephanie and Christian’s refined tastes. As the night progressed, the festivities moved outside to a dance floor under the stars. The outdoor dance floor was the perfect setting for guests to let loose and dance the night away, and by the photos, you can see much fun was had!
