I’m excited to share with you the wedding of Shannon and Darryl at the lovely Vrede en Lust Estate. If you have ever read any of these blog’s I write, you will see we work at Vrede en Lust quite often, it is definitely a favourite of mine.
I worked on Shannon and Darryl’s wedding mainly via email and zoom calls with them.
They live overseas and needed help with someone on the ground in Cape Town.
Once the wedding weekend rolled around it was all systems go.
The weather on their big day was really great. As Cape Town can have 4 season’s in a day, I always breathe a sigh of relief when the sun shines and the wind stays away.
Drawing inspiration from Vrede en Lust’s natural beauty, Shannon and Darryl opted for bright colours for their decor and flowers, bringing the greenery inside. Botanica did a fabulous job for them and I was super happy with the final result.
Shannon did not have a bridal full of ladies, but had her 2 brothers instead, which I absolutely loved!
Underneath the twinkling lights, Shannon and Darryl’s wedding transformed into a lively evening filled with music from their DJ, Violinist and Sax. Guests took to the dance floor with enthusiasm, moving to a mix of tunes that kept spirits high throughout the evening. Laughter and joy filled the air as everyone celebrated the happy couple.
Shannon and Darryl’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of their love story, set against the backdrop of South Africa’s beauty. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Wishing you all the love and happiness in the world Shannon and Darryl, you two make the perfect couple!
