Shalini and Chris had a beautiful 2 day wedding at Vrede en Lust.
They had 2 wedding ceremonies to include each others faith and families.
I really enjoyed being apart of this gorgeous couples wedding and loved learning new things about their cultures.
The Hindu ceremony was held on what I can only describe as the hottest day of the year. It was really warm, and I can only give high fives to the bride and groom for going with the flow and just enjoying the day, even though the sun did not quit! It did make for insanely beautiful photos though and all the colour added to the vibrance of the day. They had cocktails and canapés on the lawns after the wedding ceremony and then everyone changed into something a bit more relaxed and they all chilled by the pool for a relaxed dinner.
The following day was their second wedding ceremony, it was thankfully a bit cooler for everyone, but the day was just as gorgeous. Shalini looked absolutely stunning on both days, I cant choose which look I liked better because they were both so unique and she suited both looks so well. Chris also had 2 outfits and looked equally dashing in both.
What is so great about Vrede en Lust is that they have more than 1 option for the ceremony, so the couple managed to utilize two different spots and made it feel like a whole new venue for each day. The ceremony was very touching and sweet. The guests moved over to the gardens for the cocktail hour and then into the main reception venue for dinner and dancing.
Both days decor & flowers was stunning. I really loved the two looks and Botanica Flowers really went over and above on both days. They worked super hard to pull the looks together, and I was very happy with the outcome. The reception area was lovely and cool once the guests arrived and we opened the glass windows so that they could view the vineyards in all their glory.
The bridesmaids popped confetti canons over the couple during their first dance and it opened the dance floor to what would be a very good party!
Shalini and Chris, thank you for letting me help plan such a beautiful celebration for you both. I really loved being apart of the 2 days and gave me so much appreciation for the work that I do. I wish you both all the love in the world.
