Chris and Nicole’s wedding was set to take place in 2020, and then again in 2021, and finally, it happened in January 2022.
What a ride it has been for this couple.
I was so pleased that the day finally arrived and that they could finally have their much awaited wedding day with their family and friends. Having to postpone a wedding is filled with not only lots of admin and money, but also lots of emotion. So it was such a special site to witness these two tie the knot.
The day was recorded as “Cape Town’s hottest days on Earth”
I have never, ever felt such heat like that in Franschhoek in my entire life. It was unbelievable.
Nicole and Chris, as well as their guests, were troopers though. We made sure to have lots of drinks on ice, hand held fans for the ceremony, and misting fans at every corner.
The cocktail hour was filled with fabulous food, great music and lots of laughs.
Once the dinner, speeches and formalities were out of the way, the crowd danced the night away under the stars. They enjoyed the ice cream station (I did too) and when I went to say goodbye to Chris, he was enjoying a beer in the pool, so all in all, a well rounded night filled with only the good things.
Thank you Nicole and Chris for trusting me to make sure your day was a success. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you both and wish you both all the love and light this world has to offer.
