Cape Town Wedding: Limy and Tom

When Limy and Tom first reached out to me from Australia, I knew right away that their wedding would be something special. They were planning a destination celebration that brought together their closest friends and family from around the world. and they had their hearts set on South Africa. Limy was born here but moved when she was quite young.

From the very beginning, they were drawn to the natural beauty, world-class wine, and relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that our venues offer here. They wanted something that felt grounded and meaningful, but also stylish and full of life, and most importantly, they wanted their guests to feel completely at ease while experiencing something unforgettable.

We worked closely together over many months (and time zones!) to craft a wedding weekend that reflected who they are as a couple, fun, thoughtful, and deeply connected. From welcome drinks surrounded by vineyards, to their heartfelt ceremony under the open sky, in our famous gale force wind, every element was curated with care. The setting gave them the freedom to slow down and be present, and the day unfolded with so much joy and laughter.

One of the things I loved most about working with Limy and Tom was how intentional they were, they knew what mattered to them, and we built everything around that. Whether it was the long tables at dinner, the beautiful and modern styling, or the late-night dance floor with thought out music, every detail felt personal.
