Lance and Shahz were married at the lovely Doolhof in Wellington.
They live in the UK and required my help to plan their day as they were not going to be in Cape Town until the wedding. They are such a sweet couple and so easy to work with. I worked a lot with Lance too and he was very chilled and they were both really happy to go ahead with my recommendations, which is always so nice! Most couple’s do trust their wedding planners judgement, but with Lance and Shahz, they barely even asked questions, if I was happy to recommend, they were happy to book – yay for wonderful clients and wonderful suppliers who work so well together!
It was set to be a sunny, but very windy day! Their ceremony was on the lawn outside, the cocktail hour was supposed to be outside too, but the wind was getting stronger and stronger as the day went on, and so we opened up the deck area where dinner would be held a bit earlier, and guests managed to avoid the gale force winds inside the cosy deck.
They had live music, great food, really pretty decor and a fun bunch of guests.
It was a really lovely wedding!
Thank you for choosing me, I absolutely loved helping you plan your wedding and wish you all the love and happiness in the world.
