I am so glad that I get to blog this stunning day. Stefania and James live in the UK and they hired me to plan their wedding at Nooitgedacht Wine Estate in Stellenbosch.
This wedding was so special to me. I planned the whole wedding along with Stefania’s father. I have never had a father that was so involved in a wedding before. We worked together to create a really special day for his daughter & I thought that was just so lovely and thoughtful. They even did a surprise choreographed dance, which was epic!
James and Stefania were honestly one of the sweetest couples together. They had a beautiful quiet moment together after the ceremony and it made me realise how important taking a step back from all the craziness is, to just take it all in. I tried not to be a part of that moment, but I was keeping the door closed so people wouldn’t come in 🙂 And I managed to catch a glimpse of them just looking at each other. I don’t think I will ever forget that moment, it was really wonderful to witness.
Overall, the day was a wonderful celebration filled with great food, amazing wine and the most stunning floral set up by Botanica Flowers.
To Stefania and James… Firstly, thank you for my beautiful and thoughtful gift (they gifted me a photo of the Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence, where I got engaged only a few weeks before) It hangs above our bed now. I wish you both all the love in the world. You two are so special and I can’t wait to see what your future holds.
