Cape Town Wedding: Dani and David

Dani and David live overseas with their two lovely children, so planning their wedding was always going to be a long distance labour of love. We started chatting back in January 2024, and almost two years later, their wedding day finally came to life in the most beautiful way at Vrede en Lust.

From the very start, this celebration felt deeply personal. They chose to do a first look, which is always such a special, quiet moment just for the two of them before the day starts. Even more meaningfully, they walked down the aisle together, a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple and the life they’ve already built.

The ceremony flowed straight into cocktail hour, where guests were treated to a champagne tower and cake cutting. Their speeches were heartfelt and funny, and their MCs brought so much fun and energy to the room. Add a sax player, a fabulous DJ, and a dance floor full of people who were ready to celebrate, and you had the recipe for an unforgettable night.

There was lots and lots of dancing, the kind where no one wants to leave and the music just keeps pulling everyone back onto the floor.
