Claudia and Mitchell’s wedding at The Retreat at Boschendal was such fun! Friends and family flew in from all over the world to celebrate with them.
We had a lovely welcome braai before the wedding to set the mood. A warm evening with zero wind, just the boma fire, a vibey marimba band and saxophonist, and the amazing smell of a good old South African braai. The perfect start to a destination wedding.
The wedding day arrived and it hot, and when I say it was HOT, it really was!
Ice-cold drinks, fans, and parasols kept guests cool, while the eco-pool offered a welcome escape for tired feet.
The vows, set against the mountains, were so sweet and personal.
Long tables, candlelight, chandeliers and just the sound of laughter was heard throughout dinner.
Claudia and Mitchell’s celebration was effortless, elegant, and truly unforgettable.
They had such a ball, they scooped ice cream instead of cutting a cake, danced together and just really enjoyed themselves with their loved ones.
Thank you for trusting me Claudia and Mitch, I had a blast getting to know you and wish you all the love and happiness.
Thank you to the lovely suppliers for bearing with me in the heat, the day was so wonderful!
