Britt and Dan were married at Dan’s family home in Constantia. I enjoyed planning something a bit closer to home and it was such a special day to a part of.
We started setup a couple of days before the wedding as we had to do a tent, flooring, build a kitchen in the garage etc etc, you catch my drift.
Home weddings are not as easy as one thinks. Venues usually have everything, but a home does not often come with 140 knives, 140 forks, 140 plates – you get where I am going with this. So setup can’t just take one day, we took 4 days to be exact 🙂
Debbie, Dan’s mom is an absolute genius in the garden, and had the garden looking picture perfect for the day.
They said their vows in the lovely garden and had drinks and canapes around the pool area.
The reception was held under a tent on the other side of the garden and they danced right up until 1am.
The dance floor was honestly never empty, weddings often have dance floors that filter in and out due to tired feet or people moving to the bar, but not this wedding. The guests were die hard dancers and didn’t want the night to end.
Dan and Britt, thank you for asking me to help plan your lovely wedding. I hope you loved every moment! I wish you all the love and happiness in the world.
