Cape Town Wedding: Antonia and Andrew

Antonia and Andrew’s celebration at Le Cle Montagnes in Franschhoek was one of those weddings that stay with you. It unfolded over two beautiful days, allowing their closest family and friends to truly share in every moment.

The celebrations began with a traditional South African braai on the evening before the wedding. Relaxed cocktail furniture was setup for a casual dining experience, the fire crackled, and guests gathered in a casual, joyful atmosphere. A marimba band played for a few hours creating a distinctly South African feel for the guests. It was the perfect way to welcome everyone.

The following day was the wedding itself, an intimate ceremony with just 35 guests. Antonia and Andrew said their vows beneath shady trees on the property, surrounded by nature and the people they love most. The setting was peaceful, emotional and incredibly beautiful.

Cocktail hour followed. One of the most touching highlights of the afternoon was when Andrew’s sons stood up and gave two heartfelt speeches about their dad and Antonia. There were many smiles, happy tears and proud moments shared.

Guests enjoyed delicious canapés, live music and, of course, a champagne tower that added a touch of celebration and sparkle to the day.

Dinner was set along one long, elegant table with chandeliers hanging softly overhead. Layers of flowing fabric, thoughtful details and stunning table décor created a romantic and refined look, with Italian music playing in the background.

As the evening continued, Antonia, Andrew and their guests danced late into the night and snacked on a fabulous taco bar!

Being part of this weekend was truly an honour for me. Along the way, I was lucky enough to not only plan a beautiful wedding, but also form a genuine friendship with Antonia and Andrew, which makes this celebration even more meaningful.
