Some weddings just have a special kind of magic, and Amy & Alex’s was one of them. From the moment we started planning, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable celebration.
Amy, a proud Saffa with South African roots, and Alex, her UK-based partner, chose the stunning Vrede en Lust as the backdrop for their 3-day wedding extravaganza. They wanted an experience that blended elegance with fun, and that’s exactly what they got.
Kicking things off in the most heartwarming way, Amy & Alex hosted a curry night in the Rose Garden. It was the perfect way to bring together their guests, many of whom had traveled from all over the world. With fragrant spices in the air, twinkling lights above, and the vineyard setting
The wedding day itself could not have been more perfect. An outdoor ceremony with not a breath of wind, a sunset dinner outside and an atmosphere of total vibes!
As the night fell, the celebrations moved indoors, where Me and Mr Green Band kept the energy high. The dance floor was packed from the moment the music started, and honestly, I don’t think anyone wanted the night to end! Amy & Alex’s guests partied until they couldn’t party anymore—the ultimate sign of an incredible wedding!
After a night of non-stop dancing, a pool party was the only way to recover. With cocktails in hand, music playing, and guests soaking up the South African sunshine, it was the perfect farewell to an unforgettable wedding weekend.
Working with Amy & Alex was an absolute joy. Their love for each other, their really fun friends, and the whole wedding experience made planning this celebration so special.
