I just love these photos (pretty sure I say that everytime I blog, but anyway) KuKu and Luc were married at the lovely Vrede en Lust Wine Estate a few months back.
They live overseas, so we had a lot of Skype calls and whatsapp messages throughout the planning. They were both pretty relaxed throughout the process and allowed me to guide them to the right providers.
They are not over the top type of people, but still wanted their day to look perfect and feel special. I thought this was so refreshing and it all came together really nicely. See below for photos of the boys enjoying their time in their underwear 🙂
The weather was perfect for their intimate wedding. Their ceremony was held outside on the stunning lawns and their cocktail hour under the trees. It was short, sweet and heartfelt.
The photos that Catherine Mac took are stunning, as always. They were captured exactly how they were, happy and in love. No insane posing necessary, they just giggled and hugged the whole time.
The decor was simple yet elegant. Touches of purple brought some colour into the look and personalised menus with tables named after places the couple have travelled were placed on the tables. The dessert station was just beautiful – I loved the couple’s expression when they first saw it.
The reception was wonderful.
The speeches were something out of a movie and Luc said the loveliest things about his new bride. The dance by the groomsmen was hilarious, I am so pleased we captured that on video! KuKu’s father was literally just the sweetest, especially when he danced with his daughter – we were all in tears! They made memories to last a lifetime over the few days they spent in Cape Town and I am so glad I got to share in this special time with them.
I wish you both all the love and happiness that this world has to offer.
