Some weddings don’t feel like events at all, they feel like memories you get to be part of. Ally and Stuart’s December wedding at Boschendal was exactly that kind of day, warm, relaxed, emotional, and filled with the people who mean the most to them.
From the very start it was clear this day was about partnership. Instead of a traditional entrance, Ally and Stuart chose to walk down the aisle together.
Ally’s brother officiated the ceremony in the most authentic way possible. Barefoot, relaxed, and speaking from the heart, he shared stories that were funny, loving, and meaningful.
Ally looked stunning in a modern, chic jumpsuit that felt so perfectly “her”. It was elegant without being fussy, I love a jumpsuit!
There were also quiet, thoughtful ways Ally honoured her mom woven through the celebration. Nothing over the top, just subtle touches that held deep meaning for her and her family.
Cocktail hour was full of laughter and connection. Guests spilled out onto the lawns with drinks in hand, enjoying the sunshine (although VERY warm as December can be) and playing games.
Dinner brought one of the most emotional moments of the night. Ally’s father gave a speech that has everyone, includiung us suppliers, in tears! It was proud, emotional and filled with so much love that tears were shared around every table. It was the kind of speech that stays with you.
Ally and Stuart danced together under the night sky, surrounded by their closest friends and family. There was so much love, laughter, and pure happiness in the air.
This was a wedding that wasn’t about show, it was about people, connection, and real love. Ally and Stuart’s day felt honest, warm, and deeply beautiful in every way.
