Cape Town Wedding: Varsha & Kamil

Boschendal’s Olive Press played host to the beautiful wedding celebration of Kamil and Varsha.

This lovely couple brought 160 guests from across the world to Cape Town for a vibrant celebration.

Taking place in June, the very heart of Cape Town’s winter season, we were all holding our breath for the weather, and luck was on our side. The rain held off just long enough for a lovely ceremony. Just in case, we had a cozy tent set up for cocktail hour, complete with heaters, making sure guests stayed warm and comfortable no matter what the skies decided.

The tented space came alive with delicious bites from the incredibly talented Hitesh of Kapoochka, (do yourself a favour and head to the Timeout Market at the V&A Waterfront and taste his food) a full bar, a string quartet setting the tone, and a barista cart that served coffee well into the night, a detail everyone appreciated on a crisp winter day.

Once the sun set, the celebrations kicked into full gear. Kamil and Varsha’s guests filled the dance floor and kept the energy high right through to midnight. It was the perfect mix of tradition, joy, and a little Cape Town winter magic.

The celebration continued in Durban, bringing even more family and friends into the fold.

We were honoured to help bring Kamil and Varsha’s vision to life and loved being part of this global gathering of love. I felt very appreciated and loved by this amazingly warm and welcoming family and am looking forward to keeping in contact with them.
