Olu and Norman, I am so glad I get to blog this gorgeous wedding.
Their journey took them from USA, to Lagos to Franschhoek, where they celebrated with their final wedding celebration at Le Cle Montagnes. I had the immense pleasure of planning their wedding, weaving together tradition, culture, flowers and fun!
The festivities kicked off with an intimate gathering, as guests indulged in a local South African braai and a cozy movie night in the garden of Le Cle Montagnes the night before the big day.
The next day they exchanged vows surrounded by their nearest and dearest. We had a local choir sing hymns which was such a treat to listen to!
The floral was one of my favourites, the garden transformed into a magical floral wonderland. Rowenna and her team from Botanica Flowers did an incredible job in bringing Olu’s dream to life. All their guests sat underneath the most amazing floral arches during the dinner and speeches, it really was a lovely table to spend time at.
Once dinner was complete, they made their way to the next garden for music, a champagne tower, dancing and dessert. Olu had put on her 3rd dress for the evening and then it was time to party!
Olu and Norman, I felt like we became friends during the planning process, thank you for trusting me plan such a special day for you. May your love continue to grow. I look forward to seeing where you go next!
