Carin and Karin’s beautiful wedding

I first met Karin and Carin at a local coffee shop at the V&A Waterfront last year. We chatted for ages about their upcoming wedding plans and I got seriously excited about their ideas.

They chose the stunning La Petite Dauphine in Franschhoek to exchange their vows. They wanted an outdoor wedding with lots of greenery, flowers and touches of gold – how stunning does that sound? I knew Chloe and Rowenna from Botanica would be able to pull this wedding together, and I am so glad that they were available. The tent from Stretch Inc covered the guests from the wind and all the flowers and decor looked absolutely beautiful!

Catherine Mac had photographed Carin and Karin’s intimate dinner the night before and I was very happy that she was able to photograph the wedding day, too. Her photography captured everything about the wedding so perfectly!

Pieter van Helslandt and his band did a great job entertaining the guests. Pieter not only sang during the reception, he was a great MC too. I can highly recommend them for any occasion.

Karin and Carin are very special ladies. They were so sweet about their guests and really wanted to make them feel special. All the ladies received a beautiful box set from Rain and all the men received Swiss Army Knives as their gifts. One lucky guest received a wonderful surprise and took home a shiny Kruger Rand!

Thank you Carin and Karin for allowing me to play such an important role in your special day. I loved all our messaging back and forth and you two have led such incredible lives up until this point, I can only imagine how beautiful your future together will be.

I wish you both all the love and happiness in the world.
